We would like to introduce our springtime Stripey Crew.
Over the winter months we spent many hours playing with different mixes of multicoloured stripes, cables, cashmere yarns and gauges.
The Stripey Crew is the result of our labours.
There are seven stripes with careful hand-linking of sleeves and shoulders to preserve the colour coordination across the shoulders and arms.
Knitted on a 12 gauge machine in colours dyed by Cariaggi in Italy, the sweater is light and silky soft but still a warm defence against our quixotic weather.
The Neapolitan is our first colour mix. One or two more will follow in the next few weeks.
